WHAT THE F** IS BORDER?
BORDER grew out of years spent lost in the music industry, in sound, and in our own minds.
At its core, the band is two people: Patryk Berkan – producer and multi-instrumentalist and Klaudia Tomczyk – a young, extremely talented vocalist.
We share a tendency to feel the world too deeply and a constant need to write about it. That’s what we’ve been doing in BORDER since 2025.
Inspired by classic rock bands from the ’90s and early 2000s like Nirvana, The White Stripes, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers, we go beyond the typical rock formula. BORDER isn’t some rock kids in a basement. It’s a well-thought-out project rooted in DIY garage energy, but with its own modern twist.
It’s also shaped by seeing too many things we don’t want to be. We’re not here to feed egos, chase validation, or crack a code to fame. We just want to make music we’d like to hear ourselves and put our hearts into it.
